Scotland DOES NOT have the highest level of distracted drivers in the UK! Police Scotland JUST MORE ACTIVE says leading expert on statistics propaganda

According to BBC Scotland News yesterday morning:

‘Scotland has the highest level of distracted drivers in the UK!’

And, Martin Williams (16), Senior News Correspondent at the Herald claims:

‘SCOTLAND has been found to have the highest levels of distracted driving offences in the UK, while moves are being made to ban the use of hands-free mobile phones in cars.’

TuS, statistical officer, Minnie Robertson (14) says:

‘Another schoolgirl error by our so-called Scottish journalists. There were more arrests of mobile phone users while driving in Scotland because Police Scotland officers are paying more attention, as they should, to the offence. Duuuh! Does Scotland have the most distracted journalists in the UK?’

TuS reader, Archie Macpherson, says:

‘What’s really distracting is having to control your anger at the latest monstrous anti-independence lies on Good Morning Scotland!’

Pleased to note from this report that the Herod are, finally, relenting their ‘promoting yoof’ policy and are allowing more mature journos (from the Upper School common-room) a billet in their newsroom operations again.

It seems news distortion these days is not just the BBC. For anyone who saw it yesterday evening Channel 4 News ran a fairly lengthy piece on child food poverty during the School hols including interviews with various professionals. In truth I was not expecting a Scottish perspective but it came near the end when they showed a (3 second) caption of the Scot Parliament and Saltire with no comment whatsoever but then quickly switched and proceeded to briefly quote the situation in Wales. It was almost as if in retrospect they did not want to give any credit to the SNP Gov for catering/caring for our youngest but the cut came a fraction too late. Very very odd but not entirely unexpected.
