From Tory Lord Ashcroft Polls today based 1,019 adults in Scotland between 30 July and 2 August:

So, as clear cut as for Brexit at 52/48 but a bit closer on whether there should be another referendum in two years:

However, quite a dramatic result at 52:30 for, predicted in two years with, notably, Labour supporters coming round:

I see no sign of the size of the sample or any other methodology.
Beware of members of the House of Lords bearing gifts

Now to our North Brit Editor—-“What does this mean, Hon Sarah”?
“Well, on the face of it, it is Very Convenient for the SNP, who have been making a bit of a fuss about this independence thingy, but as any fool who listens to me will realise, the party on the up in Scotland are the Ruthie, Vote for Ruthie party, who are against Scots having any kind of say”!
“So, just a blip, then Hon Sarah”?
“Absolutely…… Treeza, when she ruled over us, made it very plain Scots could not expect a vote, as has the new leader of our Great country, the wonderful Boris…….. and Boris has the fulsome backing of the very important DUP, for this policy of No Shurrrenduur”!
A small interlude, as we ponder how and what bit of fluff, Boris can slip into No 10 tonight( and out again), and not be seen by the media, ex-wives and girlfriends, police, MI5 and his advisers.
Its not easy being King of the World, you know!

I like it. You’re nuts. Like me. Could Sarah become the King’s Scottish Totty?

Alas, Sarah is an “Honourable”, while Boris is a Moggy “esquire”, so social rank would work against a *happy ending*.
Both have an overdeveloped sense of entitlement. Born to succeed. An expectation of obsequious fawning from the common herd. Neither would be subservient to the other, so how would/could a relationship work? (You must kiss my ring, Boris. You can kiss my arse, Sarah!)
And Sarah was born a Scot, while Boris has decades of publicly excoriating remarks about Gods chosen few, including publishing a poem calling for our extermination.
Boris probably has the weirdly hubristic believe God is English—-if he/she had been, the Ashes would safe in Lords trophy cabinet, Eddie Jones would know a bit about rugby, and Morris Dancing would be on the telly every night.
It turns out 16&17 year olds and EU citizens were excluded from the Ashton polling. The real lead is probably much greater than we have been told.
Maybe why Westminster’s secret Scottish polling is kept secret.

Sample reported as 1023 and Adults so unlikely to include 16/17 year olds.

and this morning – “as we reported yesterday this poll” (Gary R) was quickly followed by a reference to the Herald story about relationships between Nicola and Alex S. Just in case we were getting too excited, no doubt this latter story will appear more frequently now to dampen any enthusiasm.

As Westminster polling is kept secret . . . Surely the SNP have their own polling and similarily that has been kept secret. . . .
So both sides one way or another will know what’s going on.
From the increasing beat of the Toff’s Union Jackery, strengthening the union, Cricket on Terrestial telly . . . . seems they have had some bad news.
