Clustered together here on the website but dominating the TV broadcast headlines over the last three days, this very selective picture of Scotland can only dampen the spirits and we know that dampened spirits don’t vote for change. Often, they don’t vote at all, leaving the 20% of Scots who don’t really give a damn about anyone else to vote Tory.

The subtle drip drip on negativity and SNP/bad news, you need Westminster to look after you, your far too wee and stupid to look after yourself.

It occurs to me that the ‘journalists’ of the BBC in Scotland have decided to ape the impressionists of the world of art. This morning’s web page generates a feeling of gloom and disaster on first view but look a little closer and there is no substance, no detail on which the first impression can be supported. Machiavelli might have been quite impressed by such deliberate trickery.

Todays idiotfest at 1.30 news (really 1.34–its always late) with its “news where you are”—from David Porter in LONDON, as usual–led with —–
“and the Prime Minister accuses the SNP of planning for a referendum in 18 months”. Then a spliced, out of sequence, she said/he said bit of editing to try to justify this mince.
Since Sturgeon announced THREE MONTHS ago, in Holyrood, that she wanted a referendum before 2021, this only qualifies as news if you are trying to pass a subliminal Ruthie message.

This is just the phoney war John. Just wait until Nicola announces the date of the second Scottish Independence Referendum, then we will all experience the full wrath of the major unionist propaganda machine, ie, the B.B.C.
While I, and many others, appreciate your invaluable contribution to our cause, I believe the amount of rebuttals you provide to the fake news will increase rapidly once we are in the midst of the campaign. So first and foremost take care of your health. We need you.
