I am a bit confused, just subscribed to TUS#2 anyway…

We were watching a youtube channel we follow about canals, fascinating eh, and noticed the guy was on a canal with a HUGE power station in the background. I looked it up online and it’s Cotham coal power station in North Nottinghamshire. Anyway it’s been closed down since 2019, and is still being dismantled, just thought might be of interest…
Looks like it’s being transformed into a solar power station. Why not nuclear? The English government seem so keen on nuclear power in Scotland, why not England…hmm we know why.

I looked up ‘Island Green Power’ an international ‘renewables’ company based in London, who are managing the solar power station to be built where the coal fired power station was decommissioned, (see my prev comment), looks like a few projects on the go in England for solar power. Anyone know if there are plans to plonk the EngGovs’ much lauded nuclear plants, in England?

Of course things could be different!!!! we could declare independence or for those who are afraid of the English Govv. we could vote for Independence in the elecion, thats if the people really want to be free, if all Indy parties gave themselves a name that covered all parties say something like “Scottish Indy Parties” then we could all vote for that party and be free, they wont though because they dont want Indy, that would cut their money
