Contrary to Tory fibs ‘Near universal take-up of SNP early learning and childcare scheme’

So almost 100% take-up of the scheme by Scottish parents (below) suggests, once more, the SCAUP remains the party most likely to lie (more below).

Take-up in England was 94% in 2018.

This Tory fib is of course not unusual:

Regarding The Ferret’s fact checking data: it would be useful if the estimable Ferret staff were to examine the amount of coverage given to these claims by the mainstream media and particularly BBC Scotland, which very often starts its daily GMS with an ‘claim’ by the Tories, which is later ‘denied’ by the SG.

“SCAUP” – A diving duck with a touch of blue to it.

    Brilliant, John.

Further ornithological observations re. The ‘Scottish’ S.C.A.U.P.

When it comes to telling whoppers the Colonel’s mob are very much The Greater S.C.A.U.P. (Bluebill).

When it comes to showing integrity the Colonel’s mob are very much The Lesser S.C.A.U.P. (Bluebill).

Unlike the European or American varieties of scaup the ‘Scottish’ S.C.A.U.P. is noted to favour a stunning plumage comprising a bright yellow belly and a yellow strip an inch wide down its back. It is recommended that nature lovers avoid contact with the S.C.A.U.P.’s famed ‘blue bill’ because it has a well observed tendency to insert said blue bill into manifold locations of a deeply unsavoury (even toxic) character.
