Typically, this RAC maps stops at the border. Don’t they have members up here?

Despite being able to confirm that there are no tolls or charges for using public roads or bridges in Scotland, Michael Matheson could not offer the same to his voters in England and Wales.

The answer, Michael is:

There are 23 tolls, or toll roads, in the UK; 18 of which are river crossings.

I hope you’re pleased.

Let’s have the Good Morning Scotland question about the fact that there are no road tolls in Scotland: “Mr Mathieson, are you not ashamed thatroad maintenance in Scotland is funded by tolls paid by England’s hard pressed motorists? Are you going to put the blame for the potholes on Scotland’s roads on the fact the motorists in England are not paying a high enough toll?’
