We’ve recently seen that Loganair plan to launch flights from Aberdeen, Glasgow and even Stornoway to Southend, one hour by train away from London.

They have also saved flights from Aberdeen to Bristol, Oslo and Esbjerg.

Now, improving access for those in Dumfries and neighbouring parts of Southern Scotland, Loganair have unveiled their first commercial and business flights from Carlisle for more than 25 years. The Scottish airline will fly to London Southend, Belfast and Dublin from this summer.
