Note: Though you might think choosing the kryptonite metaphor makes the Tories ‘supermen’, I feel sure Gavin had the 19th Century, Nietschean, idea of superman, as a cold, heartless killer, in mind. Think Ross Thompson, think nihilist, think, he means nothing to me?

Of course only Scotland has “nationalists and separatists”. England has patriots and the BBC.
As the legal advice for Westminster had it at the referendum–“Scotland was extinguished”.

Scottish Labour fights for England ……. when they are not fighting amongst themselves.
Scottish LibDems fight for Wales as well as England – Jo Swinson voted in favour of the power grab (which even Wullie Rennie and all his tiny crew, bar one, opposed) because she felt that the WELSH GOVERNMENT should be supported, since it had caved in to the ‘power grab’.
