New Scottish ambulance call-out system doubles survival rates for heart attack patients but is deliberately misreported by ‘ambulance chasers’

As you can see from the above, our Unionist media have chased the story, drooling and sniffing for blood. They have distorted the evidence in their usual attempt to frighten the sick and the elderly into that generalised fear of change which they hope translates into a vote to remain in the heartless bosom of Theresa May’s UK.

A new system of prioritising the sickest patients, even though that may lengthen waits for less urgent cases, has massively improved survival rates for cardiac arrest patients. According to a spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service:

‘We have changed the way we respond to calls and are now deliberately prioritising the sickest, most seriously ill patients in Scotland. As a result, we have almost doubled survival rates for cardiac arrest patients since 2013. For less urgent cases, our call handlers now spend more time understanding patient’s clinical needs to ensure we send the right, not necessarily the nearest resource. The result has been slightly longer response times for patients whose lives are not immediately at risk – but consequently, last year we saved the lives of an additional 62 patients who had suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest.’

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde: ‘We’re all in the gutter but our journos are happy face-down and sniffing the British stench.’

The Scottish ambulance service certainly saved my life; A few weeks ago. I was taken to Monklands Hospital, having suffered a heart attack. The treatment started as soon as they arrived in my home and continued throughout the journey to the hospital. A wonderful service. I felt safe in their care.

That’s 62 people who may well have died without this change to response by ambulance Scotland.

I wonder if the lying jobsworths, who are twisting facts to suit their own and their masters’ agenda, would rather, if they had a heart attack, for the ambulances to just leave them a bit longer, to attend to less urgent cases? That could mean they might die because of their insistence that a less urgent case should be sent an ambulance, so that waiting time is according to protocol and not need, which is clearly what the alternative would be, and what it was previously.

It’s scary though, because many people will believe the lies, even to the detriment of their own lives and the lives of their families.

I hope the SNP fact checking facility can somehow debunk these British Nationalist lies I really do, because many are not going to find out the truth otherwise. It would cost a fortune to put out a leaflet each week, a factual look at what is really happening in Scotland. If only there was a way, but no the Britnats have all the money and levers of power including from dodgy pals abroad, to con the people and put their propaganda out, day in day out.

Sick of it, fighting against though, and share widely articles like this!

I wonder what supporters of this union think about what is going on around them , they surely must see the daily disruption and service failures south of the border ,does this in any way resemble what the media portray is going on in Scotland , is Scotland so bad that they themselves envy the services provided south of the border , blind deaf and dumb comes to mind if they do , maybe its time for these tory voting parts of Scotland to get what they desire Pure Tory Austerity cuts , cuts , cuts and then some , maybe the SNP have been to successful in protecting them .
